He has always be against writing a book about himself but lucky for us, his fans, he has a winner here and now. I “Quiet Strength” you will actually feel and experience the major event, journey of faith, and important people in Tony Dungy’s life. Boy, if you are into personal development reading at all, this is a book for you.
How Beliefs Can Create And Destroy?
Human beings are blessed with the awesome ability to take any experience of their lives and create a meaning that will impact them positively or negatively. We all have the capacity to create meanings that empower us, but so many of us never tap into it or even recognize it. If we do not develop a faith that there is a reason for unexplainable tragedies of life, then we are destroying our capacity to truly live. Beliefs have the capacity to override the impact of drugs on the body. Norman Cousins in an interview has given a great example about how strongly our beliefs affect our physical bodies.
Growing Up Does Not Mean Giving Up
Sometimes, we can utilize our past memories to develop our present and future experiences.
Remember your first kiss? How wonderful it was? Even though you had butterflies in your stomach, and your heart raced a mile a minute, it was such a memorable experience. What about that first thrilling ride on a roller-coaster or blowing out all of the candles on your fiftieth birthday cake? Those moments just takes your breath away, and they warm your heart and rekindle your spirit.
How To Make Instant Changes By Taking Actions Immediately
First, write down four actions that you need to take that you have been putting off:
May be you need to lose some weight. May be you need to stop smoking. May be you need to communicate with some one you have had a falling out with. Or reconnect with some one who is very important to you.
Second, under each of these actions, write down the answer to the following questions:

Persist… persist… and more persist…You can do it!
If you know you want something? and you’re sure it’s what you want more than anything? then you just keep going after it right? You do everything you can to make sure you have it in your life. You commit yourself to the cause everyday? day after day? with the constant purpose of achieving your goal. A month goes by, a year goes by, 5 years, then 10? you haven’t done what you set out to do, you still don’t have what it is you set out to get.. It’s not how you thought it would be.
